The specific services to be provided to each client will be agreed separately, typically through a written engagement letter or service agreement. Those documents, together with these Terms and Conditions, form the basis of our agreement with you.
You agree to provide complete, accurate, and timely information necessary for us to deliver our services. This includes supplying relevant documentation, responding promptly to communications, and reviewing any returns, reports, or filings before submission to HMRC or other authorities. We are entitled to rely on the information you provide and are not responsible for any loss arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or delayed information.
Our fees will be agreed with you in advance or outlined within your engagement documentation. Invoices are payable within the stated payment terms. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue invoices in accordance with applicable UK legislation and may suspend services where payment remains outstanding. All work undertaken remains our property until payment has been received in full.
As part of our professional and legal obligations, we are required to comply with the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 and related legislation. We may request proof of identity and carry out verification checks before commencing work and periodically during our engagement. We are legally required to report certain matters to the appropriate authorities where necessary and, in such circumstances, we may be prohibited from informing you that a report has been made.
We will treat your information as confidential and will not disclose it to third parties unless required by law, permitted by you, or necessary to fulfil our professional obligations. We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection legislation. Further details of how we handle personal data are set out in our Privacy Policy.
Liability, Termination and Legal Matters
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill in accordance with applicable professional standards. However, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses, including loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities. Our total liability in respect of any claim arising from our services shall be limited to the fees paid for the services giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
Either party may terminate the provision of services by giving written notice. Upon termination, any outstanding fees for work completed or in progress will become immediately payable. We will take reasonable steps to return documentation or transfer information to you or your new adviser, subject to settlement of all outstanding amounts.
We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The most current version will always be published on our website. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
